Have you ever been in the middle of pouring ingredients and couldn’t remember if exactly how many tablespoons there were in 1/3 cup? Or pints in a gallon? If you’re anything like me, it happens occasionally.
Instead of digging out my computer and googling it each time, I finally compiled a kitchen conversion chart and (this is the genius part) taped it to the inside of the cupboard next to the stove. Out of the way; easy to reference.
Instructions:
• Print options: regular paper works just fine!
• All of the files are in pdf below. Or click on the image. It will open in a new window and you can either print directly or save to computer.
• The default size of these is full-page. However, if you want smaller, simply reduce the print size! If you’re not sure on how much to reduce, check out my post “How to Resize Printables to Fit Your Planner.”
Here is the exact chart that is taped inside my cupboard.

I always do that when I’m in the middle of a recipe and can’t remember. If my hubs is around I’ll ask him or I have to stop, wash my hands and Google it. Having a print-out in my cabinet would solve all my problems.

Glad to know it’s not just me who can’t remember every single conversion. Only problem is I’m a military wife, so we move often. While I print out a new one and post it, it always takes 6 months to get used to the new cupboards. But I have to get used to new spots for everything anyways. haha.
Thanks for stopping by!

I’ve looked at a couple of these and this is the first I’m printing. I’m always having to look up conversions and I like your design. The info is ‘there’, easy to see. Thank you, Jennie.

Can you make a pretty chart like this for kitchen substitutions too? 🙂
Jennie says
That’s a great idea! I actually have TONS of substitutions on my page: https://www.thehousewifemodern.com/cooking-corner/substitutes/
So it will be hard to decide which ones to use. I’ll have to think about it.
Thank you for taking the time to comment. I hope the chart is useful.
